I love plants, animals, landscapes and use these as influences when creating ceramics and sculptures. My ceramic sculptures are frost proof and are designed to sit in either the garden or a conservatory and often have the appearance of stone.
However, more recently I have been developing smaller items and in some cases using colour. If the clay is coloured then it has been fired several times otherwise I like to live dangerously and fire to stoneware temperatures (1270+ C) in one firing.
Much of my work is sold through annual exhibitions or through galleries such as Haddenham Gallery (Ely) and Art in the Heart (Peterborough) www.artintheheart.co.uk.
My next exhibition is Rutland Open Studios where my work is displayed in the garden on 14/15th & 28/29th June.
